Carter D. Womack is currently president and chief executive officer of Leadership At Its Best, Carter has a strong professional career having worked with several Fortune 500 companies in senior executive roles. In his roles as President of Leadership At Its Best, for the past eleven years he and his team work with public and charter school systems nationwide, delivering leadership and life skills training to elementary, middle and high school students. The company also works with colleges and universities to deliver the same training for the students and staff. With his extensive corporate experience in Human Resources the company works with local and national businesses to deliver human resources support in the areas of; human resources organizational assessments, training, business transformation and diversity programs.
Carter also works with Who’s Who Publishing Company, as the Chief Operating Officer for the thirty-year-old company that produce directories and host special events that celebrate African-American and other minority achievements in 25 market across America.
Carter has received accolades and is listed in Outstanding Young Men of America; Who’s Who in the Midwest; and Who’s Who in Black Corporate America. He served as the 27th and reelected as the 29th International President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc the only member in his fraternity to achieve this honor and he was elected as the 28th National President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. He has been listed in past issues of Ebony magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in America.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Alabama A & M University. He severed as chairman of the Alabama A&M University foundation and was induced in the University Hall of Fame for Leadership and National Service. He was awarded in 2017 an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership from Julian King University. He is a member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio.
